The boat depicted was owned and captained by my father-in-law (Tim). The F/V Marandah is a seine boat that operated in Prince William Sound, Alaska. The brass porthole is authentic and was an original porthole off the M/V Tustumena (a part of the Alaska Marine Highway). Porthole shows wear, oxidation and layers of paint put on ship over the years. Brass can be polished and brought back to a shine or left as-is showing some of it's history.
Double sided fused glass panel with fishing boat and landscape. Dimension of glass is approximately 16" dia. with overall porthole dimension of 20". Being double sided, this piece can be installed as a window and picture be seen on both sides (in a door, in a dividing wall,...).
This porthole can be recreated using a photo of your boat, different color scheme or maybe a background added to it. Call or email and let's chat about your ideas. Pricing starting at $1,250 with estimated shipping of 4-6 weeks.
